I was trying to run the patched GLHexen2.exe at my monitor's native resolution (1280x1024x32) and there's a strange white overlay over the whole screen that gives the game a washed-out look. What's even more bizarre is that when I decrease the screen size a certain number of steps it disappears, and then reappears on only the top third of the screen when I increase the screen size again. There are also strange ghosting effects that shadow my melee weapon attack.

When I reduce the size to 1024x768 the effect disappears completely.

This is what it looks like:

Any way to fix it?

Bloom effect doesn't seem to work @ higher rez than 1024x768. Got this too on my 8500gt. That caused this.

Yes, bloom has some problems on higher resolutions. I'll get this fixed at some stage.
