It's kinda strange Korax that you added Quake3 here...

I mean, you work with Quake engine games like Q1/Q2 and Hexen2/Heretic2.

Quake 3 has it's own community and lots of stuff, and i realy doubt fans will be interested in this site just for Q3...

The main reasons is that Quake 3 is not a single player game and noone will give a shit if you will update Q3 engine with new graphic features..

Why you bothered with Q3 in the first place Korax?

It's a waste of time, in my opinion at least...

In my opinion Hexen II and Heretic II are the only games that really need a new engine because:
1)there are tons of quake engines
2)there are a lot of quake2 engines and
3)Only some for quake3 (ioquake3), but it...
4)..doesn't really need a new engine as much as Hexen II

I agree with thats.
I think, Quake 1 - firt idtech, Quake 2 - second idtech and HeXen II - it something between q1 and q2.
Quake + HeXen II + Quake II = UQE
Adding Q3 support it maybe only add graphic improvements? or not ... ?

Yeah. I agree, the Quake3 related stuff will get removed from the site once the new version of Quake1 using idTech2 (Quake2) is done. The site will focus primarily on Quake1 and Hexen2 and updating Quake2.

Quake1 and Hexen2 will get ported to idTech2, basically turning them into Quake2-based games instead of idTech1 (Quake1) because its adds all sorts of improvements and benefits doing so, without changing the game and its look and feel at all.

The converter tool I'm building that converts Quake1/Hexen2 MDL models to Quake2 MD2 is well underway, at the moment I got about everything loaded and are busy translating the loaded model data to MD2 structures.
