well in heretic II you can set a message of the day on your server, and when someone joins your server it will be displayed on their screen
for example "Hello My Friend" is a common message of the day displayed on the middle of my screen when i join many heretic II servers

I´d like uqe to finally be better than NewHexen in every aspect. It´s kind of unfullfilling to choose between an engine that is good, and one that is better but worse in some aspects. The aspects where NewHexen is superior are:
+model interpolation
+underwater effects
+better looking menus (title screen, loading screens, text)
+demoness available in old mission
+you can select old/new mission in "new game" menu
