This tool will decompile the BSP and output a Quake3 MAP format file, ready to be compiled by the standard (or modified) Quake3 BSP compilers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will work out how much changes needs to be made to get the lighting match the original BSP. As for the rest, it will match 100%. :)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure yet, but it will likely be an external process to convert the BSP' as it needs to run through the Q3A compilers, which might take a while.. this means its not a good idea to have it as part of the engine start-up process.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The tool itself will be a windowed .NET application where you can choose the input and out paths with a compiler button and related stuff to make the conversion process as easy as possible. ;)</description><pubDate>Sat, 13 Sep 2008 13:35:31 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>Korax</dc:creator></item><item><title>A question about UltimateQE</title><link>http://forums.quake-engine.com/Topic591-3-1.aspx</link><description>Can UltimateQE run .bsp files or is it necessary to convert them previously,&lt;br&gt;or does Ul.QE convert the files bevore loading?&lt;br&gt;And How close to the look and feel of quake-engine HexenII will it be?</description><pubDate>Sat, 13 Sep 2008 10:23:29 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>h2rudl</dc:creator></item></channel></rss>
