After wondering around aimlessly for some time, i finally decided to check an online walkthrough to be sure, and the scepter is suppose to be in the room where there are four pillars and a large red carpet that is a trap door. The game won't start, however the original GL Hexen 2 can run at that res.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I noticed that if I view the list of available video modes inside the game, it goes no higher than 1280x1024. So I tried running GLHexen2.exe -width 1280 -height 960 -bpp 32 (although it would be nicer to be able to run the native LCD res if I could). The game does run at this res, but for some reason the gamma was very high, everything was washed out and Bloom didn't work.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I tried dropping the res to 1152x864, still washed out, and no bloom.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I tried dropping the res to 1024x768, this mode worked fine, no more high gamma, and bloom worked.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I am still able to run the game at 1024x768 no problem, but it would be nice to be able to play it at 1600x1200 with bloom. When all the artifacts have been placed in Bridge of Stars, and want to go throught the teleport to fight Death, the game crashes. The server is by that suddenly closed. By switching in Single player mod from HUB 1 to HUB 2 does as well the game crash in one of the two ways.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I also tryed to start a server from the 2nd Hub out. (Mesa2 I think is the map called) And it work. I can load the map without a problem and play it. But for some odd reason could my friend not join a server that is hosed on Hub 2. I do yet not know why that was so and eventually try that tonight again. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;But I'm very confused that the game crashes durring the map change, while each map can be loaded without a problem.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Has somebody a suggestion maybe for what I could or should try out next? When I try to start a new game, I can choose the character and the skill level, and after that the game freeze. Sometimes only appears the damn window that says that opengl32.dll have committed an error and have to close. And sometimes the systems boots after the screen freeze and stay blinking. I don't know why is happening this, I believe at first that maybe it was the antivirus but I disable it and it still equal. I don't know that it is a drivers problem, but I have that last version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My videocard is an nvidia mx4000 from MSI, and windows xp, with the latest version of the drivers from the nvidia page.
