I have suggestion can we add bots with UQE !

Like we can do with Chorus Bots, or ApocBot.

Ive thought of this myself.. maybe not add it directly with UQE, but as an additional download on the site.

But I dont know much H2 bots apart from Chronos Bot, I cant get hold of some of the authors to ask for permissions.

Ok tell us if you have something new about that

But exemple I can play Apoc (H2 BOTS MOD) but that isn't the 1.13, with the greatest upgrade.

I'm impressed HeXen II is still going! Keep up the good work!

As the author of the Apocalypse Bot, I apologise if anyone has tried contacting me - the e-mail address on the site is no longer active. I will remedy the situation when I can.

I haven't had a chance to look too closely, but how much has the HeXen C code changed between 1.11 and 1.13? With this project and the Hammer of Thyrion project still active, I am giving serious thought to releasing the next version of the bot.

Hi!

There are some changes to HC, but I don't think to such an extent that your bot will work on the one, but not the other - vice versa. The right guys over at HoT will probably have a deeper knowledge of the HC diffs.

In both our engines the bot can run under the original HC code or the mission pack's code, as we worked together to reverse Raven's changes so you can play the original game and the mission pack with one engine.

I'm researching and planning a huge re-write of the (Quake) engine to .NET and XNA which should help revitalize Quake/Hexen2, like I posted on the news.

I'll gladly test out your bot if you need it tested.

Well, if anyone has used the bot and has any suggestions then I would be happy to listen and consider them for the next version.
